Frequently Asked Questions

Lymphoedema & Oncology Rehabilitation

General FAQs

We have experience in managing lymphoedema, breast cancer rehabilitation, manual lymphatic drainage, lipoedema management, post-cosmetic surgery drainage, and scar management.

During your first visit, we will discuss your medical history, current symptoms, and goals for therapy. Your therapist will conduct an initial assessment to create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Please bring any relevant medical documents, imaging reports, a list of current medications, and, if applicable, your private health insurance card or Medicare card.

Sessions typically run for 45-60 minutes. Your therapist will discuss the duration and frequency of sessions during your initial consultation.

The number of sessions varies based on individual conditions and treatment goals. After your initial assessment, your therapist will provide an estimated treatment plan duration.

You can book an appointment by calling our office, or using our online booking system available on our website.

At this stage we do not readily offer home visits or telehealth consultations. Please discuss your needs with the therapist to determine what may work best for you.

Fees vary depending on the type of service provided. Please contact us or visit our website for up-to-date fee information.

Consultations are available Monday to Friday during business hours. Limited after-hours appointments may be available by arrangement.

Under a CDMP, Medicare rebates apply to up to five sessions per calendar year. Your GP can confirm eligibility and referral requirements.
Many private health insurance policies with extras cover include physiotherapy services. We recommend checking with your insurer regarding your specific coverage and any applicable rebates.
