Kirrienne's Story
Kirrienne is a qualified Physiotherapist and accredited lymphoedema practitioner. She began her career as a remedial massage therapist 13 years ago before realising she wanted to be able to do more for her clients, leading to the decision to go back to university to study Physiotherapy.
Graduating in 2020, Kirrienne was naturally drawn to the specialty of Lymphoedema, having learned about lymph drainage during her years as a massage therapist. She is a level 2 trained lymphoedema practitioner. She has been working in the Lymphoedema program at Grampians health, both in outpatient services and more recently at the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre.
She is very passionate about lymphoedema and oncology rehabilitation, particularly creating awareness about the importance of early intervention.
